Cyclist, 55, killed after 'colliding with stationary lorry' on A228 Snodland bypass

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 55-year-old cyclist from Strood died on the A228 (Snodland bypass) at 2pm on Saturday, September 15.

It is believed he collided with a stationary lorry on the the east bound carriageway of the road.

Detective Sergeant Scott Lynch from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: 'This collision occurred on a fine dry afternoon, the rider was wearing a bright orange shirt and on a yellow racing bike, so I am hopeful that someone saw him prior to or at the time of this collision.'
