Drama in Tonbridge as petrol tanker catches fire

Fire crews were called to a blaze in the drivers unit of an articulated petrol tanker in Tonbridge on Sunday.

Two fire engines and a foam unit as well as Kent Police attended the incident in Vauxhall Road.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with hose reel jets and foam, containing the fire and preventing it from spreading from the drivers unit, which was destroyed by fire.
