Gary Elphick signs for Tonbridge Angels FC

Tonbridge Angels has announced Gary Elphick has joined the club. Gary recently left Conference South rivals Eastleigh by mutual consent.
Tommy Warrilow is delighted to have captured the signature of yet another quality player for Tonbridge Angels.
A club statement said: 'Gary Elphick is a very experienced player at this level and wil be a great addition to the squad.
'We would like to thank Eastleigh Football Club for ensuring that the transfer went through smoothly. 'Tommy has had to juggle his budget in order to make this significant signing and unfortunately Robbie Kember has been released by the Club.
'We all wish to thank Robbie for his past efforts for the Club and wish him the best of luck for the future.'
Gary Elphick started his career at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he made two league appearances during two seasons.
Whilst at Brighton Gary had two loan spells, joining Eastbourne Borough in September 2004 scoring one goal in just one game before returning to the Seagulls.
He later joined Conference Premier side Aldershot Town on loan in January 2006, playing just three games.
At the end of the 2005-06 season, he was released by Brighton and signed for newly-promoted Conference Premier side St Albans City. Whilst playing for St Albans City Gary also played for the England National Game XI. .
In total Gary made 84 appearances and scored seven goals for St Albans City. He opted to leave the side in December 2007 to join Conference South Havant & Waterlooville where he quickly became a regular in the heart of the defence, playing all but two of the remaining league games of the season and picking up two Player of the Month awards in the process.
In May 2009, Gary signed for Conference Premier side Eastbourne Borough, where he made 79 appearances scoring 7 goals.
Gary joined Conference South side Eastleigh on 20 January 2012 for an undisclosed fee.
