Tonbridge and Malling residents are being given the opportunity to discuss policing issues with their local officers from the comfort of their own homes.

Neighbourhood officers have announced the date of their latest online beat meeting, which will take place on 5 February between 7pm – 8pm for residents in Aylesford, Burham, Eccles, Wouldham, Bluebell Hill and Walderslade.

Online beat meetings allow residents to join in a webchat and ask their local officers questions and receive a response.

Residents can visit the Kent Police website at www.kent.police.uk/onlinemeeting and submit questions, and receive an answer from their local officers.

People who don't want to submit a question can simply watch the questions and answers as they are updated.

Residents can visit the site in advance of the event and sign up to receive an email reminder to ensure that they don't miss out on the meeting.

Twitter users can also keep up to date with the work of the team by following @kentpoliceton.
