Kent County Show WILL return for 2013, say organisers

Organisers of the Kent County Show have confirmed the event will return to Kent Showground in Detling in 2013 for its 84th annual edition.

It follows fears that the three-day extravaganza, between July 12 and 14, would be altered after heavy rain stopped play this year.
Event chairman George Jessel, who steps down in February, said he was determined it would continue.
He told Kent News: 'After the wet weather in July 2012 plans are well underway to ensure car parking is improved with attention given to pinch points across the site.
"The society is pulling out all the stops in its preparations to ensure the show is as entertaining and welcoming as ever."
The show attracts around 80,000 visitors each year.
