The Kent FA will be hosting basic referee courses on November 17, 18 and 24 aimed at the LGBT community.
Inclusion officer Stephanie Gadd said: 'I am delighted the Kent FA is running a LGBT referee course.
"We pride ourselves on ensuring football is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone. Hopefully, this course will encourage more members of the LGBT community to get involved in football, either as referees, players or coaches."
The course is part of an FA pilot scheme which links into the FA's new equality strategy called Opening Doors and Joining In, which was launched in February.
The course takes place at the Kent FA's Invicta House HQ in Aylesford. For more details or to book a place e-mail Stephanie.gadd@kentfa.com or call 01622 792140.
