Motorbiker killed in yesterday's crash on A21 near Tonbridge

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the A21 near Tonbridge just after 3.50pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 19).

Kent Police said a Honda Fireblade was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi lorry on the northbound carriageway just after the Quarry Hill junction (with the A26).

The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The northbound carriageway from the junction with the A26 was closed until 11.30 pm while police carried out a forensic examination.
