Pray for Mikel: Tonbridge Angels striker still seriously ill in hospital

Tonbridge Angels' Mikel Suarez remains in intensive care after sustaining a serious head injury during Saturday's game at Farnborough.

The striker clashed heads with team-mate Lee Browning during the second-half of the 4-1 defeat. He initially walked off the field of play, but was taken to hospital and has remained under observation since.

Messages of support have appeared on Twitter from fans, fellow players and from across the non-league scene.

The official club website said in a statement: "We all send our best wishes for a quick and speedy recovery."

Angels entertain Bath City on Saturday.
