Tonbridge Angels striker Mikel Suarez is out of hospital

Tonbridge Angels striker Mikel Suarez, who suffered a horrific head injury against Farnborough earlier this month, has been released from hospital.

He clashed heads with team-mate Lee Browning and was in a coma last week, but is now at home with his family.

A club statement said:  "He is obviously still very tired and he is likely to be that way for a few weeks whilst starting the road to recovery with physio etc. 

'He can't thank everyone enough for their messages of support and would like to pass that message on."
