Tonbridge Mothercare confirms it is shutting later this month

Mothercare has confirmed it is closing its Tonbridge store, in The Pavilion, on Wednesday, September 26.

A store spokesman said: 'The closure of the store is in line with our current portfolio plan.  

'We hope this has not upset any customers and that they will continue to shop at our store in our Mothercare store in Tunbridge Wells.'

Tonbridge grandfather-of-ten Graham Brown expressed his upset at the decision.

He told TonbridgePeople: 'This is not good news and I'm certain many mothers in the Tonbridge area will have great difficulty in sourcing the range of products previously available from Mothercare stores.'
