Tonbridge Has Talent is returning for a sixth time in 2013 - and will be held this Friday, February 1.

The competition, which involves around 20 acts from many of the secondary schools in the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells area, is taking place in Tonbridge School's E M Forster Theatre. The show begins at 7pm.

The event is organised by students from Weald of Kent Grammar School and Tonbridge School.

On the night, a hugely diverse range of acts will compete, from musicians to dancers, singers to magicians.

As well as the acts, previous champions Poppy Alice and Asha will be returning to perform.

There will also be a charity raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses.

The acts will be judged by an esteemed panel of judges, including dancer Rachel Elliot, who has featured in many West End musicals, and comedian and pantomime star Brian Patton, who is soon to be touring the country with the Chuckle Brothers.

Every year, the competition raises money for three charities.

This year, the chosen charities are Hospice in the Weald, the Kent Air Ambulance and Epilepsy Bereaved.

Organisers hope to raise in excess of £2,000 which will be split equally between the three charities.

The night is sponsored by Cooper BMW in Tunbridge Wells, and the E M Forster Theatre.

Tickets are £5 and are available from the E M Forster Theatre box office by calling 01732 304 241 or sending an email to boxoffice@tonbridge-school.org.
