Tonbridge commuters faced rail chaos after Victoria Station blaze

Commuters travelling from Kent into London were today hit with delays after a blaze at Victoria station.

The entire station was evacuated after a fire broke out on a Gatwick Express service.

It saw trains from Kent unable to get into the station from 7am, and many Southeastern services between Ashford International and Victoria were cancelled.

British Transport Police confirmed the fire was put out about an hour later and the station re-opened.
