Tributes paid to former Tonbridge Angels secretary Ken Jarrett

Tributes have been paid to former Tonbridge Angels FC secretary Ken Jarrett who died on Tuesday morning.

Chairman Steve Churcher said: 'He was a real gentleman and the Club would not be what it is today without his input. The Club have lost a great servant and a fan.'

Lorraine Parks, on behalf of the Supporters Association, added: 'I would like to pass on my condolences to our vice chairman Toni Jarrett following the loss of her husband Ken on Tuesday morning following a battle with cancer. 

'Ken was a great man, a loyal friend and a devout supporter of Tonbridge Angels. His tireless effort behind the scenes over the years has help drive the club to where we are today. 

'Ken will be sorely missed at Longmead and will hold a special place in many hearts.'
