Fire crews cut free man after Five Oak Green multi-vehicle smash

Fire crews had to cut a man free out of his car after a multi-car smash in Five Oak Green yesterday.

The accident, on Whetsted Road, happened at 4.55pm.

A fire service spokesman said: 'One male adult was trapped after an RTC involving four vehicles. 

'Crews used hydraulic cutting gear to free the man - who is believed to be in his 20s and was suffering serious injuries. 

'Kent Police, the air ambulance and a land ambulance were also in attendance.'
