Crime has gone up in Tonbridge

The average number of crimes has increased in Tonbridge compared to last year - but only by the slimmest margin.

Crimes rose from 509 to 510 compared to the same three month period last year, according to CrimeMapper. 

And there were more crimes committed in Tonbridge than Tunbridge Wells, where only 488 were recorded in the same period.

Burglaries have shown an increase in Tonbridge, but again only by a small margin, with figures showing a rise from 57.3 to 58 compared to the same three months of last year.

Do you feel safe in Tonbridge? Are you happy with Kent Police?

    Yes I do feel safe in my house, but not always on the streets. It's very dark around the station at night. I'd like more street lights.
