The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold - FIVE GOLD STARS FROM ME!

I have just read this book and absolutely LOVED it. It is moving, touching, very real and very, very sad, but I got to the end feeling I had learned something about myself and the world. A must-read. I want to see it at the cinema - has anyone seen it yet??

For anyone who hasn't heard of it, it is about a teenager who is raped and murdered and then watches how her friends and family cope from her own part of heaven. It sounds weird and gruesome, but somehow it isn't.

I read this too, it was excellent.
