Summer Gems in Tonbridge

Looking for a spot where the kids can play and you can chat – look no further than Wear’mout!

Wear'mout - it does what it says on the sign!
I found this little gem by chance when random googling for a play area showed it to be halfway between myself and a friend and perfect for tots to twelve year olds. Not trusting the weather, this seemed the obvious place to be.
Wear’emout is bright and cheerful, with a great range of soft play areas, under 5s in front where parents can keep an eye out, with larger adventure frames for the older children, including a huge, steep slide for the daredevils and an enticing bumpy slide for the fun seekers.
I’m also impressed at the prices of food and drink inside, and the facilities were spotless. I’ve added it to my list, along with a few other choice Tonbridge places, see if you agree:
The Hop Farm, as ever, can be relied upon to entertain all ages, with activities such as Wet Yourself Weekend and their summer holiday fun ongoing until 5th September. Or maybe you’d prefer a music concert at Tonbridge Castle – such a beautiful location, with the right company and weather it’s a perfect afternoon
Another top location for a relaxing time has to be The Chaser Inn. With good food and wine, log fires and tranquil surroundings, it’s a must for a gathering of family or friends.
To cool off, there’s the indoor and outdoor pool, and outside of this, why not hop aboard the model train (scroll down), run by the Tonbridge Model Engineering Company?
With three weeks left of the holidays, can anyone share with us their own favourite places in Tonbridge?
