Bomb in Sainsbury's car park? Stay clear - traffic is terrible.

Well as if we hadn't had enough drama with the Homebase fire at Aylesford.
Now a suspicious package has been found near the recycling bins at Sainsbury's car park on the Quarry Wood Industrial Estate.
Army bomb disposal experts have been called to the scene and there is traffic chaos around the area, especially on the A20. Hermitage Lane is closed off.
I'd shop at Sainsbury's in Tonbridge if I were you.. or maybe not?
Should we be scared?

I didn't realise they would DNA the litterbugs.
However, car reg nos are often hard to see if the vehicle is speeding, and the number plates may not link vehicle to the driver. I know someone in Tonbridge who was sent a penalty notice but she was out of the country at the time and had to prove it.
I think the Courier should publish people who commit litter offences, as it may discourage people.

ReportI have reported people dropping litter (not from a car) and they said they couldn't do anything about it.

ReportI could not beleive that story on the South East news. There are countless packages left near the re-cycling bins in Council car parks, its called rubbish. Unfortunately people find it easier to dump anything by the bins, as they naturally think, it is a civic waste site.
And while we are on the subject of waste, if you see someone drop any rubbish from a car, especially a cigarette end, see if you can pick it up, take the car reg, send it to the council.
The Council usually prosecute £80 fine, and with the evidence (DNA) people pay up anyway.

ReportScared of Sainsbury's? I don't think so. Only their prices! I spend loads more in there than in any other supermarket except Waitrose of course.
