    Heathers fathers name was Bernard Charlie Woods (DOB:1899). Stated in the 1911 Census Bernard father, William Woods(1870) was one of the local postman in 1800s early 1900s. Williams wife was Caroline (1871) (nee Funnell).
    Bernard siblings are as follows: Nellie Violet (1888) Ethel Alice (1891) & Lilley (1892) were all printers assistance. Mable Kathleen (1895), Ernest Cecil (1896) was a telegraph messenger. Neville William (1898) Bernard Charlie, Edmund Clifford (1904) all attended school & Raymund Noel (1906) was the youngest of the Wood Family. All of the Wood Family was born in Tonbridge and at the time of the 1911 census the Wood family lived at 127 Barden Rd.

    Heathers mother was Ella Daisy Ford (c1901) Paddington London. Ella mother was Annie Laurie (1875) (nee Holmwood) in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Amos William Ford (1878) Leigh, Kent, married Annie in 1904 in Tonbridge. In the 1911 Census the Ford Family lived at Powder Mills, Hildenborough. Amos was a Powder maker. Unsure at present if Ella had step brothers or sisters.

    Heather parents Bernard and Ella married in the same year Heather was born 1925. Heather had 3 sisters,
    Joy C (1927) married Dennis AJ Marks 1948. Betty (1928) & Patricia (1932) married Gerald B Burnett 1954.

    Heather left London 24/11/1946 on the Dominion Monarch aged 21yrs headed to Wellington New Zealand, her occupation; Nurse. Heather address before departure was 15 Kingsley Grove, Woodhatch, Reigate. Heather married Robert Gradwell in Christchurch NZ in 1949 and moved to Australia in 1950 where I was born in 1958.

    I am uncertain, but the year and quarter of Ella birth matches another marriage to a Leslie J Kingman in 1941 at Norton Radstock, Somerset. I could be wrong but it was interesting to find. Did Ella remarry for a second time.

    Does this help anyone;

    No, I was hoping maybe an old school friend or family member might recall her. But nothing. I will keep hoping though. Do you think I may need to send more information?
